nope not kidding. I was on a multiday trip once in Key West and the Capt called the trip short a day because ONE of his regular booked his flight back home too early and no one got compensated. On another trip the Fat Ass Capt stayed in the wheelhouse the whole trip (an overnighter) he came out and grabbed some food we were grilling without asking then disappeared back in the wheelhouse for the rest of the day. Another trip we caught almost nothing all day. within the last 1/2 hour some nice cod were being caught. do you think he stayed for even another 1/2 hour? no. Most Capts I know would have stayed an hour at least to put together a good catch. |
