Alright Skip, care to clue me in. That was part of a post from another board where you started to give up the keys to the castle. I still go thru your old posts pretty often. I still have no idea what "off center drop drilling" is. Feel like sharing? Very Happy confused

Stowing the weight takes out the roll,,simple physics,,,do not drill thru the center of the plug, drill belly holes when drilling thru hole from each end, keep the bit close to the belly as possible, epoxy is six times the weight of wood, after you fill the plug with epoxy it will be keeled, unable to roll over, makes it twice as fast...

OK, I think I got you. Belly hook holes are drilled as normal bot the though wire hole is drilled lower in the body. Good so far? Are you exiting the rear of the plug low and bending your tail loop up? Are you using the nose loop hole as your guide or would you angle that down as well to get even lower in the plug? hope I'm not asking too much, you don't have to give it all up. :..............

I drill from both ends meeting in the middle, I guess you could start lower in the tail, But I just like the wire to be in the center, nose hole location is decide by the lip slot, you might punch out a belly a couple of times, but it is a technique easly figured out, adds a ton of more time to each plug, so only do it to your special ones, after I was gone, lefty went back to drilling with the stock, most,, immediatly noticed the difference in swimming.. :read:
