well this is a fill in post since our builder of this week could not make it so i will fill the spot with a older build i did hope you like it...


we will start with the tracing of a template of the bunker swimmer in this case im using red cedar.

simply cut the shape out with a scroll saw or band saw once done check to see if you can still count to 10 with your fingers if so we will move on to step 2.

now we will start to shape the plug with a round over ...you can use a small hand plane or router or even sand paper just use caution

OK time to drill it out i use a 1/8th threw drill and 5/16th for the belly and weight holes
drill the belly hole first cause when you drill the threw hole your going to need to aim for the belly hole.
in other words your going to drill on a angel from nose to belly and from tail to belly.

now seal your plug with your go to sealer and let dry....

what i use for weight on these is little egg slip sinkers 1/8th oz you can get them from most B&T Shops

i also use a plumbers water Prof epoxy to fill the holes of the weights.

Now depending on how deep you want to have the bait swim is the angle you will cut the lip slot for your lip.
i use a left 2 flat unbent lip and cut the tag end off just past the hole for the wire in the lip.

sand prim paint and your ready for epoxy...
